We make videos for families who want to transition to a plant based lifestyle. We have six kids and we provide simple husband-friendly and kid-friendly recipes, hauls, reviews and lifestyle tips/hacks. We started our channel 2 years ago when the market was saturated with young, free-spirited millenials without kids. We are also a black family in a space where most content creators are not. We started our channel because we didn't see many families like ours on social media and we figured this is how we could contribute to the conversation about people of color living plant based lifestyles. ADVICE NEEDED! Firstly, very helpful video! I would describe my channel as a character driven comedy review show with a courtroom twist. If asked I’d say my niche was a review show and my unique take on the traditional review show is my USP. However, should I be focused on one specific review subject? Whenever I have heard people of KZbin use the word niche, they were referring to something so specific that it only pertains to your specific audience and makes you a brand that can't be compared to anyone else...so hard to define, they make up a new word for what you do. I was looking more of...maybe a video coaching on a basic definition of what a Niche IS and help finding one based on who you are as a person or what you stand for. "Unboxing" is such a broad topic when you're maybe struggling with your identity. How do you find out what your "thing" is in the world? What if you have a new niche nobody has heard of?

6:30 was and is my mistake. People say they want the content but once I put it out there they didnt care. Great work Vanessa. Honestly, the major challenge most new KZbinrs face is choice of niche. Some don't even know the various types available out there. I did a similar video that shows TOP 10 MOST SEARCHED AND VIEWED CONTENT TYPES ON KZbin. This is to enable beginners choose their niche base on video content type people are interested in viewing.
