I wish i could go back in time and bought a bunch of these 2 strokes like this KX to sit on. A couple years ago bikes like this were 1k-1500$. Now that fetch 3k$ even more cleaned up with a few new plastics, frame paint and a seat and decal set.

great tutorial video, truly an eye opener. However, I can't afford an expensive granite block, so instead, i used a piece of glass block to check for warpage

@@How2Wrench Hi Shane. Most of the topics covered are pretty advanced for a DIYer. Been riding 30+ years and the video on changing oil taught me things I never paid much attention to in the past and probably doing it wrong (ie. follow the manual on warm up and sit times before measuring). If time permits will really look forward to seeing some videos for the more novice wrenches on topics like routine maintenance. Even unplugging connecters and hoses sometimes pose a challenge🤣

For any moto guys, you can do a similar thing with Maxima SC1 and baby powder. It’s not as visible as the foot spray but good enough and most of us have it in the garage. Just let the SC1 tack up a little bit and your good to go. Thanks for the tip!

One of these days I hope to move from the office to the shop! Wish I knew the answer but don't want to bs you. He couldn't screen these requests fast enough... If you need help sooner choose or more personal his 1:1 option is below! He just returned from overseas training techs and his inbox is slammed with requests. He is scheduling time each day again to answer techline orders. He does not have the bandwidth to provide email replies as his schedule is full with shop customers, training schedules, and one on ones. There's good news though! A deep dive one-on-one with him is an option. Use video, email and phone support. Through the one-on-one service. Hi TIm. I actually used to think just lie you. Once I started teaching things changed. What I learned was a lot of folks didn't get the chances we had in life to learn things we did. I used to say (and think) I was born with this common sense but learned from being in education that exposure and personality traits really drive what "makes sense" to us. For some as you say, it comes so natural with little exposure or training, for others, I have to say I never see it develop. In the end I learned to just treat everyone with kindness and not judge what they know or don't and will stick with them unless they don't put the effort in. Your welcome to the channel and community to add value... Awesome and thanks for commenting! Can you smash that subscribe button and share our channel please? We have over 700 videos in playlists! @@How2Wrench I get that, & sometimes have those moments of realization. I often take it for granted, the abilities I've collected just from being such a technically minded person. A natural desire to know how all things work & exercising my minds ability to learn & adapt to those situations. And so thus I tend to see others as behind the curve.... but in the back of my mind I realize they arent stupid. They just are inexperienced & come from different angles than I do.
