How to Find and Replace the Turn Signal Flasher Relay in a 2008 Hyundai Elantra also 2007 2009 2010

When your signals flash once or twice, then fade out, and all of the lightbulbs are working, you might have the problem I had, which is a faulty turn signal flasher relay. This is a $15 part and a 30 minute process, but you'll have to crawl under the dashboard and have good finger strength and dexterity.

SIR, I have a tucson 09, and when I use the turn signal it flashes once and it goes away, and when Im driving, randomly works and then turns off, is that related to the flasher relay ?

That is exactly what was happening before I replaced my relay on the Hyundai Elantra. The flashers would blink once and die. Let me know what happens when you replace the relay!

Just remove the lower half of the dash. Pop left side end panel put. Remove two screws at that end and one at lower right end and the lower half snaps right out. Easy peasy!

I have a 2010 elantra. Im having the same problem with my signal lights. They blink a few and after its dead no signal.

Similar location on 2007 Hyundai, but it's further up behind the dashboard. Need a special tool or way to get those clips undone. Space is very confined.

This is why I think it's a good idea to remove the old part take it with you when you go to the auto parts store try to match it up see if it matches up but I guess in this case it didn't matter the one you took out Could Have Been Me original Hyundai part sticking in a generic part but that's good it worked they never put these things in a convenient area
