Method i like using is on player search screen. As an example i would set "age is 18" > "appearances is 1 or more" then make sure you have the division column and sort by reputation, then you will see all 18 year olds who have played in Premier league, serie A etc Thinking being if they are 18 and have played in a top league they should be worth a look. You can then just change the age to look at 17 year olds etc

This is a good one too, but these players tend to be more expensive, since they have playing time in the main league. With this method, you're much more likely to find wonderkids on cheap youth contracts.

I’ve tried this but none of them are good enough to buy, there’s always one poor statistic that stops me from buying the player. For example a striker with 10 pace at 17 but every other stat is amazing

Majority I’m buying for players I will most likely sale but might be good enough for the team. So I would still buy if the pace was 10, depends what you want them for.
