Good free stuff Capt! Ive been inshore/nearshore fishing over 40 years and never heard it laid out like this as to the Bulls movement and why! I personally haven’t fished for them in years, as I was seeing too many inexperienced guys killing the fish with poor Release’s, gut hooking with long leaders, and generally just not caring. How about give your map thoughts on the St Cats, Ossabaw island area. I might run out just to see if i still have it, using barbless hooks. Tight lines!

I can definitely do that, release and handling the fish is paramount in doing our part as fishermen to sustain the fishery with as little damage as possible.. I completely agree, and people don't know and also don't care because they can't keep them, or whatever their reason.. I think awareness is key.. I'll be sure to record handling and release of bull reds the next time we land one.. Thank you for your input! Fish on!

You ever fish at St Mary’s or Nassau sound?

Yes, I have fished both, and the Jetties as well. Been a while though. Is that area your home or current stomping grounds?
