Thank you Robert Allen. You were my first RE influence. I bought "Nothing Down" in the 1970's, in Chicago and absolutely loved it. I started learning about Scavenger Sales-sales of properties whos' taxes were in arrears. I bought properties this way. I paid $1800. for a vacant lot 25 feet by 100 feet, and sold it for $140k. Thank you Bob, for igniting my passion for RE!

Excellent! This video was exactly what i needed at this point in my life. As simple as the idea is it is pure genius because I have been my own worst "negative thought" enemy all year. Nothing like focusing and positive goals and dreams.

4:43 I look cute inside a box. LOL. For those of you who are finding it hard to believe in yourself take time to learn about identity, self-esteem and values. People who don't dream or believe in themselves have lots of excuses why they don't have what they want. I'm speaking from experience. Identity/self-image can make you or break you. If Elvis was limited to only fantasizing about himself on stage with his names up in lights then I guess that's fantastic, but if he could and would believe in being, doing and having what he imagined it might be because he can see himself achieving those things, because he believes in himself, he loves himself, respects himself, and feels that he's worth having those dreams come true. If you are having a hard time feeling like this about yourself, then it might be self-esteem or very poor self-image, that may have been caused by harsh criticism when you were younger, and those ideas repeated to yourself, you identified with those poor ideas and your subconscious was listening what to know about who you are. Another struggle or culprit that is rarely diagnosed is ADHD. This is a disorder of the brain's executive function. If you have it, you are trying your darndest to get projects going, and you can think things through, but for some reason, you always get lost in the moment, hyperfocused and sidetracked managing a small detail or fix, while the rest goes forgotten, and other people will see it as neglected, failed and ignored. There are successful medications for ADHD, go to WebMD and seek more knowledge about it and treatments for it. Especially if you are still a child, student or getting your career started. ADHD has been the culprit for many failures, lost opportunities, failed marriages and businesses. Some people mature and grow out if it, but many do not and still struggle with it past the age of 40. Other aspects and components of topic thinking are a something/someone/someplace (object, place, person, idea, type or kind of thing, whether concrete or abstract thing,) and then, context (relates your focus object or idea to a role, function, part or purpose to another thing, clarifying the why and what details), and then your objective/goal (what you intend and aim to do with your idea/object in that context). What to align your actions and results to serve. Once you have identified these components for what they are to your situation, scenario or plan, then you can realistically determine the needs and necessities. I had to think this way to find meaning, and reasoning (clarity) and identify the value and purpose of everyday intentions and ideas.

Hi @David Anthony. I’m curious as to whether you have or believe yourself to have ADHD? I wonder if I do and relate to some of what you say. I don’t believe people outgrow it however, learn to compensate and capitalise perhaps, but it is a brain ‘difference’. Incidentally, one that many entrepreneurs have I believe. Anyway, the main reason for my comment is that you have a similar writing style to mine - with alternate words offered and divided by / and additional detail or context given in brackets. I have been aware of this tendency in me recently and wondered whether it is a need to be understood or an unconscious act which reflects my multi-thread brain 😁 In any case I enjoyed your comment and also found this video very useful in depicting the stages in obtaining clarity in a visual and therefore memorable way 👌

1° We search for that because we are insecure. 2° Information doesn't give more security, just the ilusion. The more you study, the more you realize you need to study more. 3° The "do it, now" doesn't work either, because we hate being obliged to something, even if it is we saying it. 4° Purpose, meaning, etc, doesn't work either. You lack energy. 5° You lack energy because you transform everything in your life in something boring. 6° It is boring because you listen to others opinion and models. 6.5º You look for others opinion and models because you are insecure. 7° You want freedom. Freedom of movement, of speech, financial, you are seeking for max potential. 8° What you URGENTLY got to do is: make your dreams and wills onto something fun to do, to execute, without outside or future pressure. 9° REMEMBER this damn thing everyday in the morning and change the discourse, the words, make it new from times to times because you will start ignoring your own message. 10° That is it. I did everything in my life looking for this. fun to execute, took all the pressure out, didn't think too much to do it everyday, took away all the expectations, just the normal stuff. Then I got motivated and REALLY worked everyday on it. I wrote a 300 page book in 3 months, I sold 1000 of them in 1 month and that is just a simple fact. But don't look at the results of my results, look for my work that I've done and concluded every single of them.

You missed one more thing in Map. That is HOW. You discuss What and Why but you miss HOW. HOW to achieve WHAT you want, should also be on the map.
