Thanks. This got down to the nuts and bolts of screening vendors and starting relationships. I'm also wondering: Where exactly do you go to find event vendors? Anywhere other than Google and event industry networking groups (e.g. MPI)?

That's a lot of hats to wear and I guess it depends on the size of your event and what you're providing as the vendor. If you decide to do both, have people there to help you!!
