You can have 999 in inventory and in your stash. I did that without mods, which took a few hours because how quick you can kill it with either grappling hook or glitch weps. Besides their meh damage their durability should be way higher like 2-300 higher because it's insane expensive with the repair without Korek key chain being what it used to be. That should of been 25% flat damage and durability 50-300% less with said damage.

I opened up around 200 Crates and probably got about 15 Exotics. I then proceeded to open up a few Legend Crates and got an Exotic Katana in my third one! Then my game crashed and set me back to before I opened all the Crates...😢

Man this happened to me yesterday , ever since the last update. When I play for more then 2 hours my game just freezes so I have to close application.. in it resets all my save data 10 plus minutes from where I last played 😭

The dropchances are fine to me but I think the exotic weapons are way to weak in comparison to the legendary ones. Still need 8 hits with an exotic weapon on hard ng+ for a volatile which is way too much. I mostly play the glitch machete because of that. Game needs more balance tweaks in the future tho. The base damage of the exotic weapons should at least be 15% higher than the damage of the legendary ones. The fifth perk also isn’t that good. Don’t know why they made the new weapons that weak? They rly need to buff the exotic weapons and nerf the xp for the gre anomalies from 6000 to 1000. Also they should remove the feature to exchange mutation samples or military tech etc for exp. They trivialized the legend levels with that and I feel disrespected for reached my lvl 250 per grinding volatiles.

Legend levels are trivialized for people who do glitches or have played a long time. That’s just how it is. There’s no way around it. New players aren’t going to whip up thousands upon thousands of mutation samples to get them to 250 in a small amount of time. All the good resource farms are gone and volatiles are harder to kill. The amount of xp from aberrations isn’t the problem. Using glitched weapons and broken grappling hook farming methods are the problem. People who play without glitches or exploits will not feel this trivialization that you speak of. You sound like a dev balancing a game around the top 5% of the playerbase.

@@erronblack308I feel they are trivialized because even with the glitch machete the volatiles had a 3 hit count so the machete is not much better in fighting volatiles than a 700 damage weapon (in normal game not ng+). Now the volatiles don’t have this hit count anymore and you can farm easy more xp per grinding gre anomalies or exchange duped military tech (fck that). 6000 xp for gre anomalies is way too much compared to how fast you can kill them even without glitch weapons. With the glitch machete I kill the anomaly in 1-2 seconds. With my normal weapon I only need ~15 seconds max, so I can make 18-24k xp per minute without legend thursday and without the glitch machete. It’s trivialized for me. The military machete is only useful for hardcore grinding chests anyway or killing volatiles faster in ng+ because of the unbalanced hp. In all other cases a normal weapon does the same. I have around 250-260 hours in this game. From my point of view they made it too easy to reach the legend level 250 compared to before. Before it took much more time even with a glitch weapon. I wish they would bring back the volatile hit count instead of removing the glitch machete which is useful for min maxing-grind and saving time and they should remove the feature to exchange military tech for xp at least. Reducing the xp from gre anomalies to 1000 also should be the case imo. But maybe I have a false view on this situation idk. I can only see this situation from an endgame perspective and not from the perspective of a beginner to the game.

They definitely need to up the chances of exotic drops from GRE Aberrations, also I think they need to rebalance the legend xp you get from them because it's far too easy to reach 250 now with 6k every time you finish it on hard

Nah, 6k is good, it's to tedious to level up without it and doesn't feel that great. Im glad those gre abberations give so much xp since i could finally reach 250 level and no longer worry about loosing my points while dying in lvl 4 chase.

I think they need to have a base damage of at least 600, but keep them at a spawn rate from 7% to 10%. They are supposed to be super rare and that makes them even more worth it. Their buffs are perfect as is.

I have a weapon that has 650 base damage. I use it to kill normal zombies and volatiles for close encountered.. For more powerful enemies, I use golden shotgun.. It has base damage of more than 2300+. Enough to kill most enemies in one shot. Besides, using a glitch weapons that can kill enemies in one shot is far better than using grinding exotic weapon.

I've been playing like crazy the last few days and getting all sorts of chests. I've opened dozens. I have ONE exotic weapon. They need to fix the drop rate and the base damage absolutely needs to be higher. Maybe a slightly different look would be nice. Doesn't have to be much...even just a colorful ribbon on the handle or some glowing lines on the blade. It doesn't have to be a lot, but it would be nice.

I agree. Minimal Exotic weapon damage should be max possible damage on legendary of that type of weapon. Otherwise the Exotic weapon will loose it's true meaning and the feeling you got something special.

Mostly the 2 handed ones can be 810 dmg n max mods can get it around 1000 dmg so I say 2 hand weapons are way better for this weapon type

I don’t use power attack critical strike chance I rather aim at the head or the ones that have stun is good to me so everytime I get one with the power attack I just dismantle them it’s not the perk I look I look for stun or 75 damage to heads

Hey just to point out on the buccaneer the damage difference is form you day time night time damage bonuses ever since the new update your weapons show more damage based on some of the perks on your wepon so the reason your gold was better is because it has way better perks

Just tried a new GRE on solo and it was too hard. I have a polearm doing 900 damage and couldn't kill one of them (There was two of them now). It suggests doing it in co-cop but what if someone only solo plays? And I'm on friggin easy, this pisses me off to no end because I feel the game is being reworked for the modders. I am also only in the mid-20's for my legendary levels so that might be it too. I tried this because I watched a vid of some1 killing the same GRE anomalies in two hits. Which last year I could do too in the old version. I also can't find chargers or demolishers anywhere anymore to finish bounties and there's too many volatiles at night. Let me rephrase that last one, they spawn again too quickly. I kill one and move a bit but by the time I loot the corpse another has spawned behind me on the same roof top. So I can't even look around for other specials at night without constantly triggering a chase. I love how the game looks now. It has improved in many areas but, for now anyway, I'm stuck only taking the simplest bounties and I may have to adjust my LP points a bit if I wanna try harder enemies I guess.

you have to rediscover them, which is annoying. Going to the gate isn't enough you have to go in the middle of it at night I believe. Once it is rediscovered, then it will be repeatable

Technically any weapon can be exotic rarity, the same way any weapon can be legendary rarity, like you'll often open crates from events or Santa events and get legendary makeshift axes or planks, same with exotic, it's just super rare. I've gotten an exotic barcode machete with dogshit stats. Certain crates only drop certain types though. Pilgrim crates seem to drop only a few types of weapons that cycle through rarity. Basically every legend weapon should have an exotic variant if you're lucky

Mines not even 810 mine has good stats yes but the damage is lower then the base 804 and 810 verison but I count stats over the damage mine is still better then the legendary until someone has one with better stats that are 810 damage I’ll just say mine is very good for it not being 804 base Damage or 810 base damage scope cutters that are exotics

These weps aren't worth the grind at all, I got 1 last night with like 460 damage, which is a joke. I think it's really stupid how the stats are mostly useless too, like that stance meter crap and full health bonus. The next update needs to remove the useless bonuses, so we have a better chance of getting what we actually want. It's also really dumb how they keep giving out event weapons without mod slots. Stop with all the useless shit, Techland!

Techland changed it to where it gives you 25% damage multiplied when your weapon durability is low which is actually pretty useful and I don’t know about y’all but I would much rather have the korek charm do more damage to my weapon when the durability is low than let a easter egg weapon charm repair my weapon.
