I’ve been researching survival techniques and knowledge here on KZbin lately. Trying to garner as much bushcraft knowledge as possible from people like you. I’m a veteran and an avid outdoorsman so it’s not like I’m starting from scratch, but I also realize that there’s ALWAYS guys in the world who may know better easier ways. And although I may be an “old dog”, I am not opposed to learning new tricks and adding them to my own knowledge base. I 100% appreciate the tutorial you took the time to create. Thanks brother, and stay safe and free.

I too, am learning everyday. This community is such a blessing and I am more than glad we've had this opportunity to meet. Hope all is well my friend. Cheers!

Love it 😂🤘 strikes a ferro rod starts two fires, that’s a great find little jealous not gonna lie I will find one of those one day !! Now let’s be honest how long did it take you to cut that and how pissed were you when you broke it by kicking it
@TheLonelyPath
@TheLonelyPath Жыл бұрын
Haha greatly appreciate you watching. Took about 15 minutes to cut through, as I had to keep stopping to clean the saw blade. And yes, at first I was like "noooooo, its not a complete clean cut", but then that gorgeous scent hit me, and everything in the world was good again haha.

@@garonjohnson91 Sounds like an amazing trip. The area I filmed this video is called "Bear Canyon Lake". On the way to this location, there are a few different spots all resembling the same atmosphere. The first spot you'll run into is "Woods Canyon Lake". Either of these spots would be nice to see. Have a wonderful trip and please keep me posted on how things go in Arizona. Im here if you have any questions before or while you're here. Be safe dear brother. 🙏🏽

Thank you! Fatwood is found in or around dead Pine trees. In most cases, the longer the tree has been dead, the easier to spot.
