First cast fish - BOOM and a huge dab too. Where i live, deep water (more than 5 meters) is rare in the fjord and even at the beach outside the estuary. I'm told that faster moving water at high tide is best, structure and choke points are good for fishing flounder. I wish I had deeper water to fish. Like it a lot, Billy. Do continue. Perhaps you don't fish with light rod and tackle - ever? Always heavy guns?
@Billyfishing_watch2 жыл бұрын
Hi buddy. I use nothing lighter than 60 grams in Norway and my heaviest spinning rod is 120 grams. My lightest beach rod casts 220 grams and the heaviest 360 grams. This is what you need to fish in Norway, when you are constantly on the move and you don't know what to expect. Thanks brother, fish on. 👍😀

Fished off the shore for a couple of hours in the evening and had dopey dogs and velvet bellies, must admit the velvet bellies are quite a pretty and unique looking fish. We'll keep trying but any fishing is good fishing as far as we're concerned, weather's not good for the next couple of days but we'll try to find a sheltered spot.
