Thanks, but the problem is not finding alternatives, it is how to open certain formats. For example, you want to open a .ai or .esp format but when you open it with inkscape it will look awful.

Thank you for the info. Word 2007 is outdated and no longer maintained nor patched for security whereas LibreOffice is maintained and patched
