How do you give credit for the design on a T-shirt? Or is this something you would put in the listing description?

How does it work when crediting the artist? Should their name/handle be included in the print?

Hey! That's a great question. First check the license type to see how you're allowed to use the design. When crediting the artist, make sure to include their name, title of the work, a link to the original work, and license. The attribution should be somewhere visible, like in the product description. It doesn't necessarily need to be incorporated into your design. You can find more in-depth info about this on the Creative Commons website :) creativecommons.org/share-your-work/use-remix/

Hi! We're not fully sure what your question is. Can you clarify, please? Many sites may have in their terms of service that you cannot sell designs if they are standalone, meaning you can't use the design by itself. It needs to be made unique with other elements or text.

Hi ! This is an interesting question and indeed a grey area when it comes to CC. My first impulse is to say no and to instead pay attention to the distribution permissions for that image, as long as it's commercial, it should be fine. However if the licensing for that image specifically says that it cannot be modified but still can be distributed commercially, it would be better to get a hold of the artist and confirm. You don't want to be wrapped up in a potential lawsuit so better to be sure! - Talish
