Do not listen to people that say that area has been worked. I worked an area in the Scott River that everbody said was worked over and over. I paid no attention to them. I got 24 ounces in that spot in 2 months. Most people have no idea how to find gold even when it is rught under them.

Not so, he's great , but Jeff Williams is a geologist, and a gold prospector, he's a professor of geology, you want serious education, check him out, he's very fun to watch, shows you how in much more detail and show you many different ways to find gold and where to find it !!! You won't be disappointed for sure!! 😊

A friend of mine (r.i.p.) used a radio transmitter to generate a 53 Khz frequency in the area he was looking for gold. Then he would search the are using dowsing rods to find larger pieces of gold. 53 Khz is the frequency that gold vibrates at when excited.

I wanted to get up to the Mountains today but both vehicles are down & works starts on Monday. I tried really hard this winter to get some gold! I managed to get a bit over a 1/2 oz but it was all from Computers. I would rather find it in the mountains but ya gotta work with whst ya got! Thank you so much Gary for all you do! Great job and thank you for explaining your procedure when crevicing , I take a few other items with me like old desert spoon and toothbrush and paint brushes and a pry bar and crowbar if needed for lifting those big boulders and a sniffer bottle if some water is in some of those holes , that’s my list ,good to have those extras just in case .

Thank you for your expertise. What I really appreciate about you and your channel is you not only talk, but you explain and show, if that makes any sense. And you show it in a real example/area that you’ve worked. For example the need to have more than just the sand…it would stand to reason that anything heavier than sand would have dropped out with the other heavy stuff. You just mentioning that kicked at least a dozen spots into my head that I’ve walked by while fishing certain rivers. Again, thank you for your expertise and willingness to share it.

Cool to see an older fella sharing his knowledge on here, mmost of the youtube prospectors are younger or at most on the younger side of middle aged but those fellas usually own their own mines (mount baker etc, great channel just different) but this sort of knowledge can be hard to learn as a young one starting out, so thank you for sharing.

This bug the Cicadia is not new or it is cycling every 7 years and is a North America bug that is normal to cycle. In the North the larva often times are killed by cold weather so the hatch of the larva is reduced, and the largest cycle has never hurt the trees or the plantings at all. The y are not a threat at all ......

What’s the chances of finding any gold in northeastern Ohio? I know the glaciers came down from Canada through some of eastern Ohio so I would guess that northeastern would be even better
