What if the apps setting are grayed out. Also permissions like 🎤and camera 📷 and location. These keep appearing on my android phones. For 18 months when I first noticed them I've been trying to get answers but I seem to be directed elsewhere. I don't and My calls, mail , vm, security warnings. I eventually find these things but long after the fact. I had been told my phones have been cloned. Please help.

Which version of Android is this? I'm on V10 (on a LG 7 Thin Q) and don't have anything like this. The only thing I have in settings related to admin is "Phone Administrators". When I click on this there are only a few apps like "Find my phone". I don't think this is the right area. I have a calendar app that either came preinstalled or was installed from the Play Store but is no longer there. It's in Settings/Apps/App Info but it has no "uninstall" and "disable" is grayed out. How do I get rid of this app? Thanks.

So I follow this advice and the app I downloaded to find hidden device administration apps is now on my device and becomes a hidden device administration app that is stealing my info? Why do I always think of these things halfway through a video rather than before

Video is called "How to Find Hidden Device Administrator App" For instructions on how to find hidden device administrator apps, skip to OVER HALF WAY THROUGH THE VIDEO, and then find it not helpful at all unless you have exactly the same phone as OP. This video is a waste of time and you should feel bad about it.

Yeah, and the app which is mentioned in the video isn't available from their downloads - how can we be sure that the app which supposed to remove the roque admin app is not a malware itself?!!

I'm still thinking about the fact you have to allow your phone to download a unknown app🤔
