If you see your device's location on the map, you can get turn-by-turn directions to it. At the bottom of the screen, tap Devices, then click the name of the device you wish to get directions to. To open the Maps app, tap Directions. See Maps: Get Directions.

Worse … I have an AirTag attached to the case but in low battery my phone can t find it … 😭 The charging box could have helped me finding the pods .. . My advice : when you AirTag tells you that the battery needs to be changed DO IT asap !if only I did !1

You can't find them by playing a sound, but you might be able to get directions to where they were last connected. If they do come back online, you will receive a notification on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.

If your AirPods are dead or offline, you can use the My Find app to find their last known location. However, keep in mind that the app will display the last place where you used them or where they were connected.

The Find My is not exclusive for AirPods alone. It is also used for all your Apple devices. So, if you are with one of your Apple devices connected to Find My, then you should expect that the tracking will follow you.

Make sure to put the right AirPod back on the case when you are locating the left one. On Find My, you also have the option to Play a Sound on either the left or right AirPods.

You need to make sure that you have enabled Find My for your AirPods. Make sure that you also have the latest iOS version running on your iPhone.

You have to make sure that your AirPods are fully charged. Put both on the charging case for one minute afterwards, open the charging case (don't get the AirPods out of the case). When you open it, your iPhone will show the charging status of your AirPods. The charging status of the AirPods might differ so charge it until both are full. Once done, play an audio test and if it still isn't working, you can reset your AirPods (meaning you Forget the Device and connect it again) or contact Apple Support whichever is more convenient for you.

Launch the Find My app, then select Devices, then AirPods. To locate one of the earbuds, use either the Play Sound or the Directions feature. Put one of the earbud to its case and wait for the map to update. When the location of the second earbud appears, utilize the Play Sound or Directions feature to find it.

The Find My network must be turned on before the AirPods are lost in order for the Find My app to locate them. There's no way to turn it on after you've lost a device.

Your AirPods won't relay the location if they've run out of battery life, or if they haven't been paired with a device for more than 24 hours instead Find My will show them as "Offline" or "No Location Found."

Assuming that your AirPods is still connected to your device, you can track it using Find My (assuming again that you have linked it before). Otherwise, it is not possible to block the person who found your AirPods when they are using it or lock it so nobody can use it. Though you can send a message through Lost Mode.

Your Android phone can also locate your AirPods.Finding lost AirPods is easiest when you log in to your iCloud account. You must be between 30 and 75 feet away from the AirPods, have some battery life left, and have the AirPods either outside of the case or in an open case for this method to work. Open your browser on your Android device and navigate to Find My on iCloud. Enter your iCloud login information. Tap o n your AirPods. To start playing audio on your AirPods, select Play Sound.
