My Airpod Pro 2's Show up but I don't get the options like finding individual air pods or pinging the case

I had same issue. Forget in Bluetooth settings, press white button and re-paired as someone suggested. Still wasn’t finding individual buds and case so rebooted phone and now it shows. Strangely it shows with name of ‘device’ not AirPods pro but all 3 items appear when select it. Case sound is really loud (which is great!)

@@jambajoby32 with AirPods Pro 2 you can find either individual AirPods and the case itself… they all locate separately. With standard AirPods you cannot

I do not see the find my network setting in the airpods section. It is just not existant. What version of ios was this released on?

They restarting the iPhone. It does seem like the case has a lot of people complaining about this issue. Some people disabled the find my option for a few min and turn it back on then they show up but it’s hit and miss. Disconnect the AirPods and reconnect them to your phone too

Try restarting the iPhone, also try resetting the AirPods.

@@DHTV I’ve tried that the issue still remains. Spoke to Apple and they confirmed it’s a software issue and the only thing that can be done is they can be refunded or replaced.

Same thing is happening to me. It sort of acts like the air pops pro 1s where u can play the sound from the headphones themselfes but not the case. This is quite annoying as the main reason I upgraded was to be able to find my AirPods case

I was in a company van and my AirPod 2 was in and I was hit from behind by a drunk driver. I was taken to hospital via a ambulance. My AirPods were in the cup holder and they went flying. Van was towed to a holding lot and if someone took them and are using them would I be able to track them. Come to think of it they probably change my name on them and I won't find them because of that or do there have a sensor that I have in my iPhone and this cannot be changed

Wow, hope you are ok. Unfortunately, if someone took them and set them up with their iPhone then you wouldn’t be able to track them. With that being said you would need to be close enough to them to have them connect to your iPhone to track them anyway.

It is showing the last location it was tracked at. You can go and check there but it may not be there anymore.

It adds on its own. Try resetting the AirPods like I show in the video, restart the iPhone and reconnect

hey - on my first gen airpods pro, if the airpods have been in the case for several hours and put away on 'find my' it shows as last seen.. however I thought there was an update so that with the bluetooth it was always connected to the find my network and therefore you could find the airpods (case) at any time?

I am not sure if that was for all AirPods. I have the same issue at times where they will just show laser location.

It should. Try restarting the phone. If that fails, reset the AirPods like I show in the video, restart the iPhone and connect the AirPods again.

If it’s disconnected, dead, out of range usually it will give you a last location however sometimes it just doesn’t show up if it’s been a long time.

Hey Guys, just been to Apple Store, they replaced the case and the case still didn't show up seperately on Find My only showing the Direction button and not the Find button. I then went back to the original purchase store, replaced the entire Airpods, tried the new set in store - same problem. Got a full refund. No one seems to have a solution for this. I have an iPhone SE with to date iOS.

It should. Try removing them from then Bluetooth settings and reconnecting them. If they are lost and you trying to play sound they could be dead that’s why you wouldn’t hear a sound.

No it should work even without as far as I know. If they don’t show, disconnect the AirPods, restart the iPhone and reset the AirPods so you can reconnect them.

Make sure the case is charged, try removing the AirPods from the device completely and then connect it again to the iPhone.
