I think the best high end fragrance I found in rack stores is Versace Dylan blue. But the price was still considerably higher than discounters

Yes the price value prop on niche if you are lucky to come by it is usually far better than any mid to high range designers you might find. Great point.

I saw Versace Dylan blue 1.7 for 50.00 I didn’t think it was worth it imo. Maybe for a 3.4 I would consider it

Always check the discount shelf for returned product. Also I find better fragrances and clothing in the upscale neighborhoods.

Bruh, you have to look at the rack stores in higher end areas. I found Creed Aventus, Mancera Hindu Kush, Mancera Black Predtigium, Mancera Musky Garden, Bond no 9 Wall Street, Acqua di Parma Colonia, Surge Lutens a Montale and a Jo Malone scent for the wife.

When on the sites for tj maxx or marshalls is there a way to find out what's at a specific location? Because I see it's general. No way that I've found to find what frags are currently at your general location.

Unfortunately there isn’t that I know of. For me it’s just trying to be consistent with stopping in and checking. If I’m in the area I always stop. They usually restock the shelves on Tuesday’s so let that guide you as well.

I guess I misunderstood you when you brought up that point in this vid. I was thinking you could check what's locally available like you can for Wal-Mart or target. But you are saying you check what's online and just order online and it get shipped to you? In that case... my apologies I misread. But cool idea by the way didn't realize that as an option till now. @@bernardocantu77 basically what I was saying is the more niche variety they have available online the more likely someone will order it and return it because they didn’t like it. Most of the niche I’ve found at TJ Maxx, Marshall’s have been bottles that were ordered online by other people, returned to a local store and put on the shelf for sale where that normally would not be for sale in store. I’ve just been lucky to find them because I’m in there frequently.

i've never bought any but i've seen a few and now that i've seen a few of your videos it's clear that some of what i saw was probably a return. I definitely check the ladies section and cosmetics. I've seen fragrances in cosmetics, especially those small 30 ml cylindrical bottles like they have at sephora. Those i think are occasionally mistaken for lipstick or something like that.

Man I miss rack store visits….been in China since the start of the pandemic but cannot wait to get back to the stages and visit my local Burlington, Marshall’s etc. been buying from fragrancenet but the deals for China suck and it takes two months to arrive lol

Nice video. I did scoop up some Lutens around Christmas time for my wife and I. I got the 1.7 and the 3.4 bottles for $29.99. The only time I have ever gotten something niche that I actually wanted from the rack stores.

Saks on Fifth Off 5th has some good finds but not as discounted as others. I’ve scored Aventus Cologne, Royal Mayfair, Tom Ford Black Orchid.. Couple others. Depending on how long ago that Red Tobacco was sold, it would Be worth keeping your eyes peeled for it. Good chance that whoever bought it, might return it… I passed on an Armani Code Absolu Gold.. went back the next day to get it, gone… About a week later, they had one back on the shelves.. Box opened and taped shut with return receipt thingy on it.. scored it for even less..

Up here in Canada, I used to frequent the rack stores a couple of years ago, but legit never found a single niche fragrance. Best I ever found was one of Bvlgari's La Gemme collection (the green one I think?) and it was in the women's section. The Canadian TJMaxx franchises also don't have online shopping options. Kinda sucks, but that's the story up here.
