How to find out if the pedal is true bypass

There are plenty of videos and articles online about true bypass vs buffered bypass.
But not many of those will explain how to figure out if a pedal is true bypass.

Note : "Relay True bypass" pedals will need power to switch. You'll get no sound if you unpower in the ON position -> But it's true bypass.. (Vfe for example). The Relay needs to be powered to switch in position.
