Note: The Original scale of the song "Tum Hi Ho" is F minor. However, taking reference from my Piano Tutorial, I have mentioned it as E minor.

I just went through your clipping and liked your idea but in the song TUM HI HO..the stave notation indicates one SHARP note in treble clef. The presence of one SHARP note ( F# ) is confirmed as a G scale and you played E minor scale. You can play on a different scale that is not the issue. But the printed stave notation is showing a G scale. Thanks and go ahead.

This rule does not seem to apply to the song Dil hai chotta sa, composed by A R Rahman. It starts with D# and rests on G at the end of the line. What scale is this song set in? It looks like D# but the song also contains C#. Could you please explain this? = Arun joshi
@DhruvPiano2 жыл бұрын
Dear Arun, Rahman songs are all masterpieces. And so, most of his songs lie in the exceptions. It will require a detailed understanding of raagas and other complex scales to understand his compositions.

It may hold only true for the scale which you are playing. It can not have always nexus to original scale of song. What I want to say is last line u play can be played on different notes of different scales and which all can be melodically correct. But it may not be always those notes forming part of original scale. Hence how we can hold this logic good ?
@DhruvPiano3 жыл бұрын
I did not quite understand. Can you please explain again with an example? Also, note that this technique works for most of the songs, however there always will be exceptions.

In both of your examples, the original scale of raabta is in Am and for Tum Hi Ho is Fm. So how does your technique work as we are not able to achieve thr original scale of the song
@DhruvPiano4 жыл бұрын
Original scale of Raabta is C major scale. Technique for Tum Hi Ho also works because if you check the last note from the original song, you will find it ends on the F note with F minor chord. So the original scale for Tum Hi Ho is F minor.

Confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart the God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. Repent of your sins. ("Repent" is Latin. It means "To Turn Away." Turn away from your sins, refuse to go back to who you once were.) Be baptized. (Be completely submerged under water) And the Holy Spirit will gift you. Remember this, JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU
