Here is a easier method. 1. save 2.battle groudon 3.if its not shiny run away 4. go out the door 5. go back in 6.battle groudon 7.repeat

You can clone Pokémon and items in Emerald version, kind of like you can clone Pokémon and items in Silver version, if you've ever heard of the glitch, which doesn't require cheats.

@NooBHatteR112 actually its easier to get a shiny legendary than any other pokemon, as their stats arent determined until you battle them, all you have to do is save in front of them and keep starting a battle until you find it shiny. takes forever, but it's doable. chances are 1/8192 just like anything else

@ar20h yes it is, you need to look up game mechanics. every tile in the game that has wild pokemon in it can give a shiny, not just certain ones. and as i said before, its easier to get a shiny legendary than anything else, as their stats/IV's (and therefore shininess) are calculated when you start the battle, so you can save in front of them and reset until you find it shiny

@dominic123212321 capture relicanth (underwater) and wailord ,, put relicanth in first slot and wailord to last spot. surf left to pacifidlog (the one with waves to slateport) if you you the dive spot there,, go dive.. in underwater swim down until u get to the rock where you can read the dots. dive up, you reach the cavern.. if you dive up in wrong place.. you go back in dive spot. inside the cavern. go top.. i dont sure ,, use cut or dig or strength.. the dots destroy and it leads new room..

I only used Gameshark to get Groudon Shiny. You can still get a normal Groudon. Just do as I did in the video.

This is on an Emulator, and if you save in front of Groudon and keep pressing A+B+Start+Select you have a chance of finding a Shiny Groudon.

~121maninder~ actually you can...there's this Glitch where you can clone your pokemon and the item they are holding and it's fairly simple to do. You go to the battle frontier then go to the pc choose an empty box deposit any poekmon you want to clone. go to the lady closest to the pc for battling. when she asks to save say yes the first time then no the second time...restart your game then go check your pc voila your pokemon are in the empty box and in your party....Enjoy

Yeah, but it will take forever, they're extremely rare. For a legend, just save in front of it and keep soft resetting, it will be a shiny eventually, but don't hold your breath.
