What would you recommend for the purpose of repairing the car for ceramic coating? I have a one year old car that parks in the garage and have been waxed regularly with Q Wax. The car barely have any scratches on it, I took great care of it, maybe a couple of very very light marks. Thanks!

All depends on your expectations. A one step pass with Q²M Primer on a finish polishing pad is never a bad choice. Of course the initial preparation and decontamination is at least if not more important. Regards, Y.

@@GYEON_official just to prep the surface before applying ceramic coating and better shine is enough for me. I don’t want to cut too much of clear coat. My car currently has Q wax and maintain it with WetCoat. Does the Primer is enough to remove the existing Q wax and WetCoat on the paint? Thanks.

Depends on YOUR expectations but when putting a long term protection on a surface I would like to have it as clean and scratch free as possible before I apply a coating and believe me, new cars are not. Regards, Y.

That’s all about personal expectations and when it comes to professional services then customers budget comes in to play as well. A “perfect” result in this case on a 300.000km carwashed car will take more then 2 steps. Regards, Y.
