The platform is buggy as hell. I used the sensor and didn't match the platform, also I have digby boy and tried running it multiple times over 2 days. I understand the mechanics. It didn't give any output.

Having the same problem. It is always auto-resetting and am almost never getting anything. Worked perfectly in the closed beta though, so no idea what's going on.

@@aarongeorge6331 if you get the perk from memetics specialization to smelt the ores into ingots you can sell the ingots at any merchant. Silver goes for 6,000 and gold goes for 12,000. Another great perk is combo chipset, they also sell for 12k each. Theres a merchant at every settlement with a 50k sell limit that resets every week. I put most of my specializations into prospect and smelting. Solar drill is great because it never breaks and you dont have to waste points into electric drill or pickaxes.

@@aarongeorge6331 If you have the spec perk to smelt silver and gold, turning the ores to ingot nets huge EL, 6k Silver and 12k Gold, take note that vendors have 50k limit each.

It could be bugged try moving it around, make sure you select a rescource and turn it on. Other than that all I can say is the mining platform has been buggy since day 1 unfortunately

I have been seeing that you need to set the digby work timer to ~65 it is 30 by default so they bail and it resets

all server times are different some servers are newer or older so phase times are different by what server you play on

i have a 3 bar tungsten area with the detector but when i place the mining platform and go on the terminal its says 1 bar tungsten. Is that maybe a bug?

@@Crysis320 probably also maybe try moving the mining platform in small increments whichever way you think is closer to the 3 bar and maybe it will pick it up but I've hear a lot of people having these types of problems

Idk mine works when I'm offline, make sure it has enough power and turn it on it should run while you are off. Unless it has just enough power because of the eel so it shuts off or if something else turns on that would shut it off. A lot of people said it bugs out though

Someone said setting the Digby to start working above 65 fixes things. Apparently if it is too low the Digby boy goes to his case and the machine resets

Oil only comes out of the black patches in certain areas. I don't think I had any oil at this base it's further east that the oil fields open up

Try moving the platform or slightly relocating your base. The mining platform has a lot of bugs you could also submit a bug report
