Learn how to graph the equation of a circle by completing the square. Completing the square will allow us to transform the equation of a circle from general form to standard form. When the equation is in standard form we can identify the center and radius of the circle to graph to then graph the circle.

Simply dividing by two and figuring out the third number of the trinomial is SO much easier then when my college professor simply stares at an x2 binomial and simply says , " now what number do you think we should add to complete the square?" An easier approach is to divide 4x and -10y by (-2).. you’ll get (-2,5). Then you square root (-2) squared plus (5) squared - (-7) which will give you 6. Square the 6 and you’ll get 36. Now just put them in your equation. So it’s gonna be (x+2) squared plus (y-5) squared equals to 36.

Yeah i dont get how you get from x^2+4x+4 to (x+2)^2. Isnt (x+2)^2 x^2+4?? It doesnt make sense.

@@slezzzy4916 It came from the factored form (x+2)^2+(x-5)^2. Thus, getting positive 2 and negative 5.

just divide the whole equation by the term (thats on the front of x),so that the x becomes alone. Then follow the same procedure as he did

It is still helpful even after years later, like my teacher would keep talking too fast and before you know it there's like a bunch of equations, number, fractions written and I leave myself clueless and this guy makes it easy to understand within minutes bro... Man to have this teacher would literally make me ace math easy.
