How to Find the Ice Maker Valve on Your Forest River RV

Ira from Forest River shows you typical places you may find the ice maker valve on a Forest River RV. The ice maker valve is used to by pass the ice maker when winterizing your RV.

So is it push the button in or pull out to allow the ice maker to work and make ice it seems to be in the first part of the video you said to push it in to let the water through and the second part of the video you said to pull it out

Sorry for the confusion, pulling it out will shut off the water supply, and pushing it in will allow water to flow and make ice.

When sanitizing your RV Fresh water tank and water lines should you close your Ice Maker Water valve or leave it open and sanitize it with Chlorine as well?

Why doesn't Forrest River provide manuals for each RV, 5th wheel and travel trailer? The dealers have no idea where valves are located, and the Service Reps at Forrest River are no help.

@@ForestRiverInc There is nothing written that informs you where that valve is located. This is what it says under Antifreeze Winterization Procedure: "#8 Shut OFF the water supply line to the refrigerator’s water/ice maker, dishwasher and clothes washer, if equipped. Follow the winterization procedures for these appliances provided within their respective owner’s manuals." This does not help with locating valves. The only photos that Forest River shows are from the high end RV models not the model I bought.
