One method you could use to find LCM's is to put all the factors into a venn diagram, with the factors present in both numbers in the overlap. To find the LCM, you multiply all the numbers in the venn diagram (not the same as multiplying the original numbers together because if 2 is a factor in both, it only appears once in the overlap.) To find the HCF, you multiply the numbers in the overlap.

Now watching the video I get it. I thought you meant the prime numbers in each of the numbers we are trying to find the LCM rather than the prime factorisation I think was the term you used in the last video. eg 12 prime factorised is 2, 2 and 3 were as the prime factors of 12 are 2,3 and 4.

So if you have to find the lowest common multiple of 6 and 9 it would be 3x3x3x3 and what your saying is to count one of them so it would just be 3x and nothing else to multiply it with
