I find that most stylists do not want a whole lot of conversation. They just want to get to the cutting part so it's hard to have a real consultation. I went to a new stylist the last time I got a haircut and I brought a picture of a blunt haircut since the last two had given me a U shape despite me saying that I wanted a straight across haircut. I can't even count how many stylists I've gone through. I'm asking for the most basic haircut and most of them just do whatever they want. 😞
