Thank you. I’m watching this in July because I realise yet again that I’m more confident in a bikini than in a coat! I’m petite and quite fine boned with rectangle tendencies so it’s easy to get swamped. I actually think I do want to emphasise lines rather than create curves because long wavy hair and flowing scarves can do that for me 🙂 thank you for helping me to realise this.

Thank you. I would really like more specific coat color and outfit ideas though. For instance where you might borrow from a sister season and pair with yours - like a mute beige with a warm or bright spring might be off,or a maroon or rusty brown or chocolate with bright cream might be iffy - maybe the cream is more white than warm ....but deep rich turquoise might go well with cream. I have a red coat ,which is decent,but it felt a bit random with an all navy outfit . I like nautical blue grey ,red , yellow,but maybe wouldn't normally pair all of them in another set or theme. Sleeve proportions are a bit of a problem as well - if the sleeves are big enough to move my arms in ,then the body tends to be over large. If someone already has a coat in a style or color but wants to play it up so it's part of the outfit and not just covering your clothing (which I feel is common in Ontario - shoes and coats tend towards a lot more basics than any other items - although I'd seen some more styled and warmer/thicker coats in a Quebecois magazine ) what do you recommend? Also, about various fabrics - maybe even long cardigans - I saw you threw in a long jacket in the hourglass shape ,in densities - light vs heavy ,warm vs cool, natural tones of wool:lamb,alpaca, cashmere,angora fur with a knit backing ,cotton sweatshirt or cardigan style etc. Maybe washing and care.❤

Great video! I have been looking for the perfect winter coat since last winter and still haven't found it. :( Also, I find it really interesting that the recommendations for the body types here are nearly completely opposite from Kibbe type recommendations! It really is all quite subjective.
