We need a chunk pruning tool that can prune chunks you flew over with an elytra or chunks that you haven’t updated by mining or placing blocks. Say a timer that tracks each chunk as it’s generated and the game will not save the chunk if the timer is less than 10 minutes

A lot of people build within 10,000 blocks of 0,0 and spectator on a copy of the world is such a help if you dont care about cheating to find broken chambers, I usually take screenshots for the general areas of broken apart areas. Heck I found half a broken ancient city inside a chunk while doing this

Just use a chunk pruner if you have access to any type of computer. Mojang honestly needs to add a built in prune chunkier so everyone can do it.

@@ZoruaLightningamulet is one. U reset chunks and the game acts as if it’s never been explored. U still wanna backup ur backup of your world but it does work. I do it for every update. Write down chunks to save. Mark those as keep and reset the rest of the world. Too scared to do it for Nether bc I’m all over the place so if a Nether update ever comes out I’ll have to go like 5000+ blocks out 😭 as long as u have a pc and realms u can do it. Move ur save to realms download to pc, reset chunks, back to realms, redownload.

The ancient city was supposed to be much more fleshed out with loud chest, deep dark pots, and bells that could distract the warden. Also the fireflies and birch forest updates… I didn’t forget about that Mojang.

What I do which is kinda cheesy but in the preview I copy my world then I look for chunks with tribal chambers in creative then i avoid them chunks in my actual world which I don’t want to do but my world is getting a bit big for my Xbox

In this situation I simply delete lots of cunks around the coordinates where it should generate and it regenerates with the present structures. I use Amulet software on PC

I have a world which I haven't touched the end for this exact reason. I'm holding on to hope of the nether style update for the end and don't want to have any chunk issues. Always play on that world though only loading a bare minimum of chunks I need for stuff.

I love exploring in Minecraft and I hate how I feel punished for that when new updates come out. It took me forever to find a cherry blossom biome and I explored soooo much to find it….I am not looking forward to how long it will take me to find a trial chamber and how far away from my main base I will have to go. I guess that’s just how it has to be, but I don’t love it.

I got Trial Chamber spawn on explored chunk not far from my spawn point. Actually if you not go far below, just on the surface, it will spawn underneath it, even you already explore the chunk above. Every update, I try to look on creative copy world to see how the chamber looks like, I learned every update will change the structure look, some perfect and some a mess.

Wanna know a funny thing? I tried fighting in trial chambers with full netherite armor, at first it was easy but the second I drank the bad omen potion, it became a lot harder 😅 So, there were baby zombies that were holding iron/diamond swords, and wearing armor. I nearly died from a couple of them 💀 So, if you really want the mace, get some netherite armor first

I usually fly 10k+ blocks to an unexplored area, put all my items on a ender chest, destroy it without silk touch, a bit like starting over.

Something I'll do if i do find a trial chamber like this is just take the blocks from it to use for myself Usually i dont like destroying structures and like to preserve them but if it is like this then i dont mind using it in my builds I will ofc loot the vaults (if there are any)

I bought a japanese minecraft 2ds and played minecraft on it to discover it runs better than the switch version of bedrock. I also spent 13+ hours on a world exploring and realized that seed has absolutely no structures

nope in update 1.2.0 we got the Better Together update which started what we know as Bedrock in July 31, 2017. But PE is technically Bedrock just before BT update so technically 2011

the first alpha for pocket edition (which bedrock is based on) released in 2011, the full release of pocket and windows 10 edition was in 2016, and the better together update (which officially changed the name to just 'minecraft', starting the bedrock era) released in 2017 for most platforms. nintendo switch and playstation 4 (as well as probably a few others that i don't remember right now) didn't technically get the better together update, with bedrock edition instead releasing on those platforms as part of some later updates, namely, the update aquatic and buzzy bees. the bundle 'Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition', which i'm fairly certain is the first time the game was officially called 'bedrock edition' specifically, released alongside the wild update in 2022.

if you render a chunk on bedrock it isnt "simulated" so future changes can be made ex a chunk is 6 chunks away, my sim dist is 4, it can still be changed by future update

you can use chunk trimmers like MCA selector to trim your world down. I do it every 6 months or so.
