How to Find Utilities with GPR | Ground Penetrating Radar?

Have you ever tried to prospect pipes using the GPR and then corroborate the result by excavation (soft dig), if it is so could you tell me how was the error?

GPR picks up differences in the soil with contrasting materials. This is could include pipes, cables, rocks, or potentially human remains (or lack of creating air pockets). It’s not something we typically do as we focus on subsurface utility investigations although it has been used in the past to find buried graves.
