Hey Dan, how would I do a velocity calibration on a hyperbola on an LMX 100 that I just purchased. You only get distance and depth as a reading with no time. I would need to be able to calculate this to find out if I have come across and airwave. Thanks.

That will primarily depend on terrain and transect spacing. But a good rule of thumb is 1 to 2 acres with a 0.5 meter transect spacing in 1 direction.

@@Learngpr Hello, thanks for sharing. I have a question, at minute 11:28 when the hyperbola comes out, it has other hyperbolas projected downwards, my question would be the following. How can I know which of the hyperbolas shown on the radargram to take as the actual surface of the pipe found? And why put several hyperbolas if you have only found a single pipe?

I only see one hyperbola. It has 3 bands. For this system we use the top of the first band. But this process is system dependent
