How to Find Winter Chanterelle Mushrooms

I found a bunch today. Many small ones but this was probably my last hunt of the year since it's moose hunting which is not good if you want to go mushroom hunting. Great video anyways!

Can you eat winter chanterelles onced picked or do you need to cook them?

I believe you have to cook them. We cook all wild mushrooms or dry before eating.
