With me it’s the other way around. I had very curly (but medium-to-fine) hair when I was little, as I got older my mom would always cut my hair short because it was unmanageable. After each cut my hair would get straighter, like from curly to wavy, from wavy to straight. Now it is somewhere between straight and wavy with a medium thickness.

Straight, thin, fine, somewhat high porosity, dry hair with decent elasticity. Very hard finding products that work for my hair type. It either just hangs there flat and limp, where the roots get a little bit greasy and makes it stringy looking and even flatter and more limp if I use too much conditioner. But if I don't use enough conditioner, it becomes frizzy, dry especially at the ends, and prone to tangling/knotting badly and breaking. No, I don't use a hair dryer at all, and I only dye my hair once or maybe twice a year. I wish it would be soft and smooth and thick and shiny, but it seems nearly impossible to find the sweet spot between clarifying/stripping the oils and drying it out and further damaging the cuticle, versus trying to add moisture and condition it and falling limp as a noodle. It's like everything either strips and damages fine hair or weighs it down. And don't even get me started on the oxymoron of having greasy hair type, but a dry flaky scalp. WTF?

I have weird hair. The top and front is curly, it looks like when you take the straightener and you curl it with it, that’s how it looks like sometimes.... again, sometimes, other times is looks down right Shirley Temple curly. The next layer is wavy, but like very very gentle soft waves. The last layer, the one close to my neck is straight, no curl, no wave, nothing. I stopped using heat in my hair, not that I NEVER use it, but for example, yesterday was the second time since December of 2018 that I used heat to curl my hair, the last time I used heat was to straighten my hair in February. I tried not to wash my hair often and go as much as possible without washing it, and it made it worse, all that “do not wash every day and use this products, don’t use sulphates.” did not work for me, I tried several tings for almost a year and it did not fix anything, it actually made it worse, on top of a weird hair now it had breakage that did not have before, sometimes horrible build up, that did not go away with my natural shampoo that costed half an arm. So I went with another stylist and yeah, I tried their method that was pretty similar with what I was already doing. Again, my hair did not get fixed. I gave up and now I’m washing it as I was doing before, which is every single day with affordable shampoos and conditioner that work very well with my hair, I also just deep condition once a month. I mean, my hair is still weird but is shiny, soft, I did all the test for porosity and whatnot and it feels like my hair is healthy, it grows super fast, I sometimes get split ends but nothing that cannot be solved with a good trim... I mean, after all this, someone please explain what is my hair that seems to thrive when is not supposed to (according to experts and non experts) but totally gives up on me whenever I try to care for it as recommended?

I color my hair and it showed damage from it. Dry, split ends. I use Argan Life Products to give my hair some nourishment and it seems to help. My hair feels soft and looks less dry, healthier. I love the product. Not heavy. Does not weigh my hair down. I recommend this product.

Same here too :( If u do layer cut then u can't braid ur hairs. The hairs will come out and looks very bad. I think u should do different hairstyles instead cutting off ur hairs!!!
