One of my favorite untranslatable words is hygge means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people.

What a brilliant conversation! It's as if there is a passion frequency that people are attracted by and then tap into.

So interesting that Steph said at 5:50 that it used to take rare levels of confidence to approach people and have a conversation about something, whereas now the datasets are all on line... she's right that the 'old' world was dominated by extrovert 'power', and the new one is reversing or at least bringing some balance back. That is, if we leave financialisation of big data out of the picture anyway. Loving this channel: some of the deepest conversations on youtube here. On debates: Semafor is also interesting, started by Ben Smith of the now defunct Buzzfeed.

I absolutely love this series! My only bit of feedback is how ominous the theme is. It doesn’t set the tone of optimism and exploration of the show.

Aree bhaiyya, dark matter jo hai na, woh ek aisi cheez hai jise hum dekh nahi sakte, lekin uska hona zaroori hai. Jaise Gabbar Singh ko Sholay mein hum ne kabhi directly haath mein murgi pakadte nahi dekha, lekin samajh gaye ki woh murgi bahut important thi. Waise hi dark matter ko hum dekhnahi sakte, uski koi roshni nahi hoti, lekin iska prabhav sab jagah hai. Humare Universe ka lagbhag 85% hisssa dark matter ka hota hai. Lekin yeh koi taara ya planet nahi hai. Yeh ek invisible power hai jo galaxies ko jod kar rakhti hai. Socho, agar yeh na hoti, to sab kuch bikhar jaata, jaise agar Jai aur Veeru ke beech dosti na hoti, toh dosti ki kahani adhoori reh jaati. Jab hum space mein dekhte hain, toh sirf 15% Universe hume dikhai deta hai. Baaki ka Universe dark matter ki wajah se chala raha hai. Iska wajood gravitational pull ke zariye mehsoos kiya ja sakta hai. Aap samajh lijiye, yeh humare Universe ka woh unsung hero hai, jo rahega hamesha chhupa hua, lekin bina uske kahaani aage nahi badhti. Samjhe, bhai? Dark matter ko kabhi underestimate nahi karna chahiye...

It's great for building direct and personal rapport to your guest, but unfortunately also terrible for listening experience, so the additional work should be worth it@@danshipper7738

You say the word "like" with a very annoying/distracting frequency. I would recommend trying to correct this verbal tic!

Both of you do this continually. I do it too. Part of the reason it bothers me is that it's contagious. Podcasts hosts should make an extra effort to cut it out.
