Finding your passion as an introvert is different. You can't just go there and do things. When I was first starting in my business and came to face this problem I figured out very quickly that the majority of advice are made for people who have no objections talking to the camera and love selling or those who will put profits above anything else. You see I am not them. I am an introvert and activist who runs a non-profit and coaching business where people come always first. That's why I made a channel where I show my fellow introverts, activists, and non-profits how I do it without selling soul and compromising on our values and our true self. But I encourage you to watch this video. Some good gems inside.

Lovely! Marie, I used to say 'I don't have a creative bone in my body', my younger sister was the artist in the family, I was a linguist. However, back in 1993 I encountered the Aura-Soma colour system and over a number of years I noticed that the colour associated with creativity and creative communication kept coming up as my unsuspected gift and talent. When one has an Aura-Soma consultation there is an actual 'Gifts and Talents' indication!! Eventually I was drawn to silk painting, became an Aura-Soma teacher, and since about 2007 I have been making wonderful gemstone and pearl jewellery and rosary beads!! Currently I have just built a studio in my back garden and my project for this year is to realize a dream of creating colourful handpainted silk ties and matching silver and enamel cufflinks and tie clips... go Aura-Soma colour!!

I admire people with special gifts. The singer, writer, actor, athlete, etc. who is blessed with a great skill, love doing it, others appreciate it, and they make a tremendously successful living doing it. The rest of us are just trying to make it through despite not having them.

I'm a guitarist and I started playing after watching Sungha Jung's video that poped up infornt of me out of nowhere, his guitar playing skills inspired me to pick up a guitar and give it a go, I picked it up and actually excelled in it... XD I think your gift is really a thing that is unexpected but is there somewhere inside you, you just need to stop comparing yourself with others and explore yourself, BE YOU!! that is NO. 1 GIFT, "No transparency", look for inspiration, that inspiration would lead u to your passion/gift/hidden talent , the thing you would love to do most. that's my story

I loved how you used the word "Strengths" to not make the idea of gifts overwhelming. This perspective helped me a lot. I realized why I was not enjoying a particular position and it was because I did not get an opportunity to use my core strengths at all and that's why it didn't feel aligned. I learn the job responsibilities pretty quickly so I perform well, but does that really bring me satisfaction? Seeing this video, I feel that making use of my strengths majorly is very important, because that's natural and that's what helps us nurture our joy within. Thank you, beautiful Marie! ♥

I think my gift is planning, organizing and facilitating but doing all that behind the scenes. I discovered this when I was part of a group that was in charge of a special project and a number of people pointed out that this role in the group really suited me. I had the opportunity to plan and organize things for a dance team when I was the captain and I have to admit I wasn't the best captain in terms of building a good relationship amongst the team but I was good at creative direction. So I found a strength and a weakness. And as a matter of fact, when I joined the group I spoke of previously, before we started working on the project, I actually told one of my peers that I didn't think there was anything special about me or my life. I didn't feel like I had a particular gift that no one else had or that I was the best at. But I learned that no one is the best at everything, there's always somebody better, there is only one you, and that you is always interesting because there is nothing else in this world like it, nor has there ever been, and nor will there ever be.

Thank you for your video and explaining that gifts are strengths which makes it easier for me to figure out mine. What I actually don’t agree with is the phrase “gifts that ONLY YOU have”, which makes it impossible for me to figure out bc many of my strengths or gifts many people also have, therefore leads me to dismiss mine. I believe none of us have that 1 thing that only we individually have, but we all share strengths and gifts that we were gifted with, some have it stronger than others and some have nurtured it more. But this video really helped me in figuring out my gifts or strengths, so thank you. Been on this journey of reflection and changing my career but can’t decide what I would be good at doing.

Hey there! Thanks so much for so openly sharing with us. We totally see your perspective. While we may have many gifts and share them with others, there are some things that come so easy to us that it's truly our gift. It definitely can be hard to find because it comes so easy to us, but we know you'll find it. We believe in you and are cheering you on throughout this journey! - Monauar, Team Forleo

Gday Maria, great video. My A to your Q is: 12 months ago I just knew I had to find clarity to my own purpose or calling. I was really good at lots of things and helped my clients achieve massive measurable results, but I really lacked a focus and had no ability to be centered. I was questioning myself "What am I doing here?" So I looked back at all the work I had done with my clients over the past 15 years. What got me most jazzed and where I helped my clients achieve their biggest "AHA" moment came down to the same common denominator, the cross-road of what I loved doing and what the world needs. It came down to one single thing...purpose. So 12 months ago I started my crystalised journey as the Prophet for Purpose. I truly believe, I have witnessed it and it is proven in companies doing good all over the world that "if you become the prophet of you purpose, you will profit from your purpose". Keep up the awesome work...on purpose

Thank you for this information. It is very helpful. My takeaway is to: Recognize that I have strengths. Asking myself what are my strengths make more sense. Growing up and attending school we are often taught that gifted people are the really smart ones who make A's all the time. Everyone with lower grades are not gifted. This is probably one of the reasons why so many of us think we do not have a gift. Not to forget how often people are told that they did things the wrong way; no you can not do this or that ; and on and on and on.

I come from the communication tree🌳 I learned that about myself from people telling me I'm a good writing lyricist, good story writer, a good salesman, good debater, good conversationalist, giving good inspirational advice, good listener, good reporter and a good teacher. But the string that pull me the most is the lyrical writing which I have a tub of lyrics that I've created over a two decade span something like 23 years on the side of working in retail. I truly believe that's the best to use my communication gift whether I make a living off it or not I just know that string sing to me different than the other ones for some reason.
