@VoxGuru5 жыл бұрын
The videos on this channel are not really in a particular sequence. They are standalone concepts about different aspects of music, so the order of learning may not be relevant here. But I will try and organize it into a few categories if that helps. If you are looking at a full fledged course, you could check out our VoxGuru app where the lessons are more organized and comprehensive.

I think the only way is eartraining. You can try by taking small part of a song, try to hit the notes. Slowly you can identify the notes. Once you practice for a couple of songs you can quickly pick the patterns. Anyway, I would love to see a tutorial if she makes.. she is a legitimate source😁

In Carnatic (or even Hindustani classical for that matter), we don't use the term scales, but instead Ragas. Ragas not only have a particular set of notes but also a certain grammar defining the relationship between the notes. So in a Raga you cannot use all notes of the scale in random combinations. There is a set grammar to be followed.

If I drag my chest voice high enough, I can do a shout using my speaking voice up to F#4 often G4. And as low as F2. What voice am I? My head voice can go high if I practice it. Maybe above F5. But not up to the 6th Octave. But definitely above a G5 is very uncomfortable. What voice type am I? Someone once said I can do an alto but I’m so confused because I feel some parts of my voice are unexplored. I can’t “mix my voice” properly...! Sometimes in order to drag my chest high - I need to make the tone softer in volume to practice it. It tends to sound weak.
