Thank you so much ma'am❤. I learned Carnatic music for sometime during my school days. I had a husky and unique voice and i could only reach smoothly until 'Dha' after that i had to strain my voice. My then teacher used to compel me to use my throat with full power to sing .i used to struggle as my voice cannot reach high pitches and i used to strain my throat a lot. I always wished as if i had a sweet voice. Gradually I lost hope and stopped learning. It was through your videos that i learned about the use of head voice and it changed my whole perspective in singing. The challenge is to identify the note from where to transform from chest to head voice..

From A#3 to D#4 u can use your mixed voice.....u can easily transfer to head voice

Usually your voice will tell you... when your feeling it to be too heavy to sing in chest voice you'll switch to head voice and while coming down if you feel head voice is too light as you come low you switch to chest voice. The range specified in the reply above mine is most compatible.
