Becoming a real sage man! Whatever you're doing, keep doing it, it's working! :D Lots of good information/inspiration in here, and I definately resonate with the becoming attached to a particular story..Always shakes out into something different if you spend enough time really analyzing it and trying to expand upon it. Remember hearing that the best pieces of art are the one's give you that ego death and I think it's one of the biggest allures of making music for me atm. Escapism meets confronting truths in yourself (or introspection lol) You're killing it man! Can't wait to hear your art pop/hiphop (I just recently got hip to that categorization; art house hiphop and figuring it might just be the keyword that suits my stuff and where i gotta push it)

Thank you so much man! All I've been doing is exactly what you've said: trying to analyze and expand what I'm absorbing in other people's art and what I'm expressing in my own. It's a fun process full of learning and relearning :) I'm glad to hear that you resonate and hope that the motivation stays consistent!

As soon as you mentioned finding an anchor I immediately thought of beach house because I’ve been jamming to them this past month. So real.

Could you also make a video on how to know what to write about? I feel like I don’t always have a great direction with my writing.

Yes! I can put that on my list of future videos :). One thing I might suggest is to practice writing with clarity and focus. If you're not sure what to write about and have absolutely no clue where to start, try to get good about picking a topic (any topic) and writing about it thoroughly. It could be literally anything just commit to the idea, theme, emotion, etc. What you may find is that the more you write this way, the more you'll find what naturally interests you about what you create and what doesn't. Once you can identify what these things are, you can start writing about them with the clarity and focus you've been exercising. I'd try giving that a shot!
