My 7 yr. old granddaughter has been begging me to teach her how to crochet. I bought her the hook, the yarn and tried to teach her. Unfortunately, it's too much for her to try to hold the crochet work and working yarn in one hand and manipulate the hook with the other hand. Her hands are so tiny. She still persists but without success. This finger crochet is the perfect solution!!! I can't wait to get her started. Thank you so much for this easy to understand tutorial.

So cool, I had no idea there was such a thing as finger crochet. I'm just a beginner and started with a hook so am comfortable with that route but have been thinking I'd like to show children how to crochet some day...i.e. At boys and girls club or girl's center...you made the process so much easier by one being able to skip the hook! Awesome, thank you!

I think it is pretty easy I'm an adult but completely a beginner and I'm so surprised to know how rude some people can be Either ask for help keep trying or well some people are just quitters but I'm not nor did I teach my kids, and now days my grandkids to quit or give up on anything they want to accomplish in life. Thank you so much for this video cause it definitely taught this old timer a new skill /craft and I'm gonna teach my grandkids this scarf.
