I have this mini sewing machine, great for beginners b4 u invest in a more expensive one. What I did to lock my stitch is: at the beginning of my sewing I did a couple of stitches,then stop, pull some (a little) upper thread, move my fabric back a couple of stitches, and then stitch again with the machine overlaying the existing stitches, then continue sewing. At the end, I did the same thing. Hope this helps.

Hi Mulianti, thank you for the tip. I think it's the same thing that I like to call the 'reverse kangaroo hop' ! You can check it out in my latest video. It really is a quick and practical way of starting and finishing a seam with this machine.

This is genius! Im going to do this the next time i have a stitching project. By the way, can you make a tutorial on how to shorten and reseam jeans? I have a lot of them and i want to adjust them rather than fold the ends everytime i use them. Looking forward to this.

@OoniCrafts4 жыл бұрын
Hi Valluri, I'm so sorry your mini is playing up. Is the bobbin timing correct? Have you checked if the hook is catching the thread? If not, please fix it like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lX-Zd2Sbnct9gdU

I have a problem with my stitches.. how to fix the thread bunching under the fabric ?? And the machine stucks up until I forcefully rotate the wheel... I follwed nifty 9 method for bobbin... Adjusted tension screw... Checked inside the bobbin casing position... But still can't get proper stictches .... Please help me...
@OoniCrafts4 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry you are facing this problem. My first recommendation would be to watch the thread tension adjustment videos on my channel like this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHbOqmRthdJ9pZI If it is not working, work through the step-by-step checklist at this link: mailchi.mp/4c24ab312dc9/mini-sewing-machine-operation-checklist If nothing still works, please don't waste your time and energy on the machine. There are too many people suffering due to a bad product. Try to get rid of the machine and invest in a full-sized sewing machine like the Brother LS14 or a second-hand one. At the very least, you have learned how a sewing machine works and this will help you go so much further with your next full-sized sewing machine. I have discussed this issue in detail in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/poXXnGmYpd1ni6c Hope this helps xx

Hellooo I just want to ask. Because of my full tension, the tension knob got broken what should I do for alternative?please have a comment it making me crazy :(
@OoniCrafts4 жыл бұрын
Hi The knob is a nut and bolt system. If you gently tilt your machine from side to side, you will hear it rattling inside. Just get it out, and screw it on the inside on the other end of the bolt.

but everytime i try to stitch my thread gets tangled and my sewing machine gets jammed and i don't know what to do
@OoniCrafts4 жыл бұрын
Zoe, are you definitely using a branded high quality thread? Unbranded generic threads are the first culprit. Let me know x

why didn't use the cuter on the sewing machines instead of using scissors
