Thank you for the info! I always assumed fire polish equals tack fuse temperature. This makes more sense!

Great information!! Love the self portrait! Could you do a video on how you glue the project to the base? How do you support it so that it’s straight? Must be magic!

Why do you have to rough up the edges before fire polishing?
@LisaVogtglassartist4 ай бұрын
It's not really "roughing up the edge" it's more about removing the texture left behind by the fiber paper to smooth out the edge in order to get the best quality and shiny edge possible. Hope this helps clarify!

Je n'ai pas compris la température de cuisson svp !
@LisaVogtglassartist5 ай бұрын

Why didn’t you cut out three exact pieces of your silhouette and then stack them instead of cutting one thick piece and breaking blades? Or maybe I misunderstood you… thanks Lisa! 🐢
@LisaVogtglassartist5 ай бұрын
The glass I used to create the silhouette was made by a free flow. It was unique and it originally inspired my design because I loved how the colors came together. So I made the glass "base" before i even came up with the idea lol. So it's just how it worked out, but it was so worth breaking the blades for this piece of art!
