Will it be possible in the future to update the built in ir with a third party one?

My Jims45 before updating wash bright, crispy, with a incredibile attack, but a litte harsh. Now it's dark, warmer, realistic, more saturated but maybe too dark, losts of low ends even in the brigh channel (must keep bass knob set to 0). Drastic change! Don't know yet if I prefer the older version or the updated😮🤔

YO!!!! My fully up to date windows HP Envy Laptop would NOT launch your firmware. I booted up the pedal in the very way you describe, and my laptop even confirms that it sees the pedal connected, but I got two error messages when launching the successfully downloaded updater! Any one else come across this issue? I ended up just pulling out my MAC and of course it worked there fine, so I WAS able to update my Deluxe and 550 pedal, but NOT via my windows machine!!

This thing sounds fantastic. Unfortunately I've tried two combo deluxe pedals in a row now and they are extremely noisy for some reason. I mean more noisy than high watt tube amps cranked up with single coils. Anybody else experiencing this or know what's going on. Is this just something that needs to be tackled in the next firmware update along with adding vibrato?

I am also using Linux (on a mac, and on a pc) and would like to know how to manually install the firmware without using the updater. Also, some tips on hacking the firmware to do our own tweaks would be great.

These pedals are great but why the hell is it a USB2.0 instead of USBC? Regardless, update on the Dual Wreck sounds great! Can you summarise the changes? Recommendations for the future firmware updates... 1) Direct USB recording 2) custom IRs 3) on-board IR tweak

I can't update on PC. Computer sees device, your software doesn't, even after placing it in boot mode.

What are the updates for the Jim’s 800?

Softer tube saturation and a slight warmth tweak to the IR. This makes the JIMS 800 easier to dial in and removes some harshness without sacrificing clarity. We made a video on the update called "TCTV | Episode 1 | AMPWORX Firmware Update"
