Great video. I particularly liked your emphasis on hitting the water column at three levels before moving on.

Shoud i use a heavy or xheavy rod for bridge snook on the east coast of florida?
@SnookClub10 ай бұрын
I would use a heavy with a soft tip.
@MikeyB928210 ай бұрын
@@SnookClub Hey how long should the rod be like 8.6?
@SnookClub10 ай бұрын
@@MikeyB9282 8’ for boat fishing. 9’ for off the bridge. 8’-6” is a good choice if you do both.

Jay thanks for your great vidios on snook fiishing. Does this type of bridge fishing work during the winter (january thru April) in the Indian river bridges in Stuart?
@SnookClub23 күн бұрын
Yes it does definitely work. The only caveat is during an extremely cold few days in a row they may shut down. So wait for the warm up between cold fronts if you can. I have caught them in as cold as 57 degree water. However, I don’t recommend it.

Hi Jay, You mentioned fishing in Broward. Ive been here looking for Snook for some time with no luck. Any tips on what bridges I could target where you've had success? Thanks!!

Try Camino Real at the intracoastal.

Do you prefer incoming or outgoing tide?
@SnookClub3 ай бұрын
In general I don’t have a preference. Each bridge is different. Some bridges I merely switch ends of the bridge for the incoming vs the outgoing. They can feed on either tide. Knowing where on the bridge is the most important factor and it will be different for the different tides.

Hey man what moon phase do snook feed best on in the spring and summer ?
@SnookClub10 ай бұрын
Generally speaking in late spring and all summer you are better off fishing around the new and full moons in the inlets and passes as that is where they gather to spawn. I would prefer outgoing tide in this situation as well. However, fish whenever you can as the fish are feeding more heavily during spring and summer compared to now (winter). Good luck! 🎣🐟🐟🐟
