How to fish Henderson and Henderson Harbor, NY

Henderson Harbor used to be what the St Lawrence River is today for bass fishing. You can still catch nice smallmouth in Henderson all summer long. In this video I'll give ya a couple tips to get on fish quick in Henderson, NY.

Brings back memories of years past with Gib Gertner, Steve Zajac, Bill Roth and my first trip with Charlie Henchen. I went with my Dad Manny who had come to HH as therapy after returning from the POW camp after WWII. My favorite spot is the Bathtub. Yes, we went out several times with a gentleman named Rudy Ditch. Henderson harbor is but the lake side of Henderson definitely is Not!

Coming up in a few weeks and looking for the best options to fish. I’ve fish chaumont bay a few times and seen it get rough fast. How is the river? And best place to launch a bass boat?

@@brettdereamus2369 Those SSW winds are gonna be trouble if they get up around 10mph or more pretty much everywhere ya go. The main channel of the River is not good with S or SSW BUT you can hide. I have another video called How to fish the St. Lawrence that should answer all your questions.
