This man always says to stay tuned as the following video will be a good one, and I gotta say he simply doesn't lie. Great video as always!

Great video as always. I find I get my best results results throwing squarebills on a medium spinning rod, 10lb braid to 8lb flouro leader. It casts great and has a great feel.

Favorite way to fish. My fishing buddy thinks I'm insane when I cast a squarebill in a tree, but results don't lie

Very helpful video. I have a whole bunch of crankbaits that I'm usually hesitant to use solely due to the fear of snagging and losing one. Definitely going to put this info to use the next time I'm out on the water!

Also, you may want to have a FRT (f-up recovery tool). Its a telescoping boat stick with a curly Q thingy on the end. I get back about 90% of my snags on the lower Colorado River with the relentless channel current. Think Bass Pro and maybe West Marine sell them.

Fell in love with square bills. Got my PB at night couple weeks ago. 6lbs on a craw 1.5 strike King silent. Such an amazing bait. Great video really, enjoyed it?

Good video 👍🏼 I keep “pocket rocks” in my pocket and scattered around the boat. They are 3oz. round sinkers with a snap that I put on the line to knock a lure off a hang up. In several years of using these I’ve only lost both bait and pocket rock a couple of times.

Great video. Your casting skills are top notch. I just started fishing again after a long hiatus and I’m constantly trying to improve my accuracy and smoothness. Watching you how it’s second nature is very impressive. It’s 5/11/22 5:06 pm and I’m heading to the water now.

Great video. Being from Florida, I don’t really fish squarebills, but I’ve watched other channels to get a better idea for when the opportunity strikes. Other channels haven’t covered it nearly this well. I’ve enjoyed other videos you’ve done, but this one in particular got you a new subscriber.

If getting hung up best thing to do is lift bail to create slack in line, then close bait once some line drops. After line drops do a couple pops with wrist to release a snag

great vids man~ when fishing these squarebills on wood like in this video, is there a retrieve speed that helps avoid snags? slow, medium, fast, paus, etc...? thanks

Closer to bank faster shorter casts better angles puts the plastic in the water for more time and in the zone for more time. I have buddies that fish their lil J16 literally 5 yards from bank! They out produce any one of us that is further off 😂

You're dead on with fishing where you might get stuck. I tell beginners "Okay you see that really shitty pile over there that looks like you don't want to get your lure anywhere near it?... That's where you cast, that's where they are."
