Is this classed as a fixed rig cos there not allowed on the local water and if you do get snapped by the fish what would the fish be left with thanks 👍
@Alltackledup3 жыл бұрын
No mate its inline so not fixed, line runs through the feeder. Even the x safe version is safe aswell as rins through the tube.

Also buddy watch my video on tying that rig

Hey I love your content. Does the think stopping the feeder from going down to the hook come with the feeder or is it separate?
@Alltackledup3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, the guru speed bead stops the feeder sliding down, and also it is what the hooklength connects too.
@pennywise79033 жыл бұрын
That didn’t answer question, it’s a separate buy

I wish I could see what happens to the bait at impact on water after 30m cast 🤷🏻♂️ Basket type protects the bait a little bit but this ? Your bait will get blown alway like with jet wash at impact on water surface
@Alltackledup2 жыл бұрын
Indeed mate i may try putting go pro on a lake in margins on a smaller lake and try and cast to a marker. Or take up diving lol. Thanks for supporting the channel

@@Alltackledup I have to say tho that I have same success with feeder and cage. I use guru hybrid feeder and x-safe and of course regular cage feeder
@nikolajc76175 жыл бұрын
And whats the hybrid part of it???
@Alltackledup5 жыл бұрын
Hybrid is the type of feeder, basically its a different take on the original flat bed method feeder, the hybrid has sides to help hold / support the bait parcel on impact with the water.uch better in deeper water.

The only thing that I've never been sure about is, "how do we know that the method feeders land flat on the bottom?" Its alright showing the method feeder placed into a tank, but do we really know that thats how they land after casting and settling? I know we'd all like to believe thats whats happening but does anyone actually have proof of this? Saying that, I have been using the hybrid feeder for a couple of years now and they are fantastic and I have had fantastic results. I would say, 'use them with the Guru orange mould though', rather that pressing it in as shown here. The only other thing I would like to add is; Although fantastic feeders, the end shaft snap very easily on them, and I mean very easily!! Every one I have ever bought has snapped. They do, however, sell spare rod, tubes, whatever you want to call them, which is great.... However, they cost a bleeding bomb (pun not intended) More than the cost of a new feeder for a pack of two. Ok, Guru hands down make the best method feeders IMO, but they need to sell them with spare stems included as they will without doubt break. Surely they know this as they sell the stems separate for them.. Anyway, "We love you Guru, make love to us Guru!!" haha Cheers Les

Les Paul it's weight is nearly all placed towards the bottom, so will always land right way up.
@lespaul37177 жыл бұрын
Yes I understand that but have you ever seen actual proof of that? I haven't. Also these hybrid feeder are metal. Theres no actual guides on any feeder I've seen that would guide the feeder down so your positive it lands the right way up, we just assume it does. Can you show me any under water videos in a lake that prove this, and not a small tank where people are dropping it in???
@garypage74777 жыл бұрын
Les Paul I'm sure Rob Hughes did it in match fishing magazine. I may be able to do one chucking to far bank ?

Line feeder???? What about it?
@craigmitchell49456 жыл бұрын
I have used the guru feeders with the mound and I don’t rate them at all personally I think they are a load of crap. Just my opinion personally there are better products of the method feeder out there than guru’s pile of old shite.

Great channel very informative bud. I do have a question pls. Why is my 4” hook length keep getting a kink in the line around 10 ish mil from my hook ?! Is it when I load the feeder the line bends when I press the pellets on ? Or am I doing something wrong ? Do you have a way you hold you hook link while applying pellets to the feeder ? It’s like every time !
@Alltackledup Жыл бұрын
Thank you - It could be the line you are using ? I tend to put 80 percent of pellets in, compress them then lay the hook length in and add the topping of pellets. I use GURU N gauge 0.17mm - 0.19mm line for the hooklenght.
@fabiandegussion5134 Жыл бұрын
@@Alltackledup I’m using a selection of guru ready made hook lengths bud. Maybe I need to fill the feeder more so not to kink the line as I load up a second lot ?! It’s happening a lot at the min.
