What's done with the adjustable black plate on the front? Is that supposed to be flush with the inside of the front wall to act as a clamp when the mounting plate is put on the outside of the finished wall?

Yep it should be flush with the tile, so you need to know how thick your tiles and adhesive will be to set the depth correctly

what side up? which outllet do you blank if used with only one outlet

It depends what front plate you’ve got, if you look at the instructions on that, it should show which is the right one to blank off. Thanks for watching!

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a Yorkshire fitting, but i prefer end feed. I’ve heard lots of plumbers tend to run a bit of extra solder in even when using Yorkshire fittings. I think it’s personal preference though. Thanks for watching!
