A towel rail rad over a bath? and with an electric element, what were you thinking Al, breaking a few electrical regs, such as Any fitting or appliance within zone 1 must be IPX4 (splash proof) or better as well as a maximum of 12v (SELV) with the transformer located beyond zone 2.

The towel rail is not connected to a power supply I just left the element in it. It is plumbed into the central heating circuit.
