This is literally what I've done to an RX7 in my video going up in 10 minutes. I didn't need to remove any parts for my one though as it was less of a massive change. Great to see how you do it, Tom.

you've sold me on that Wonder Cutter! That looks like a fantastic tool. Also, I've never thought to use my calipers as a scribing tool until now. Thanks for the great tips

Very useful video Tom. I have the Fujimi 1/24 scale Ferrari V12 Berlinetta and the C1 Models Novitec N-Largo S Transkit (resin) to put together and this video has helped me find the confidence to do it right. Much appreciated 'How To' and from your other videos I think I will be using a rattle can from Tamiya for the primer.

that hot knife is cool, i wonder if you can diy w a soldering iron and exacto blades
@TheScalemodelingChannel3 жыл бұрын
You probably can, however this is not a hot knife, it more like a microwave. It vibrates so fast it cuts/melts through

Greetings, nice work. And how about making some kind of car from the NSF series, for example, Skyline Eddie or 350 Rachel or someone from the black list or the same BMW M3 or Supra from Carbon flashbacks?
@reyvenpl35253 жыл бұрын
sad there is no BMW M3 GTR 1/24 scale kit. Would be noce if you would make the M3 GTR from Most Wanted from it :D and BTW nice job on the body kit :)

Amt i think makes one with the fenders built in. A supra too. Theyre nicer than expected. The entire bodykits**
@pactrarc3 жыл бұрын
Cool project. AMT have just re-released their 350z with this exact same Veilside bodykit. No conversion parts needed. Not sure how good the kit is though as never built it myself.

From what i know and have seen. It is completely wrong and out of scale + proportion

how precise is the wondercutter? is it comfortable in your hand? would you cut open doors with it?
@TheScalemodelingChannel3 жыл бұрын
It is very rough, not even to be called precise. Its for quick dirty work

For the amount of material you need to remove they might as well just release a complete resin body instead lol.
