Thank you very much for the video my sister has a 2014 Mazda bt50 with the same engine and I was looking for months now for the fuel filter replacement video and I just came across this by accident,once again thank you very much but one more thing can you do the oil change as I am interested in the oil filter part for this same engine.

Open the glove box. Push the sides of the glovebox inwards and drop the glovebox fully. There will be a long rectangular plastic housing that just clips in. The filter is behind the rectangular plastic cover.

The ford ranger has an automatic bleeding system. It only needs the ignition to be switched on a couple times before cranking the engine. If the entire fuel filter housing was taken out of the vehicle and emptied all of all fuel, you would need to put some fuel in it when putting it back together so air isn’t sucked into the system.
