It is really great. The only thing that annoys me is the phone ringtone. It is primitive and you can't change it. In fact you hear two different ringtones, one from the phone and one from the unit. I use it every day for google maps as the SatNav and it's fantastic showing the traffic jams.

I bought this for a 2014 CRV EX-L and it has 5 stock connectors aka one for the amp…. But they sent me a harness without amp connection and my audio won’t work it should still work witho amp connected but I am not sure how to wire the audio it said plug and play but the harness has RCA cables

You can take one from Seicane. I've had no issues so far. But get the fastest one as for the processor or the memomry. Mine is now way too slow.

Stephen Mau yes, but one of the phone button, the voice tag button, works now as the mute one. Which in fact i like as i didnt use voice tags

Is the voice tag you referring to the voice recognition? If that's the only issue I might be looking into the same deck. Besides that issue can you still control the imid and stuff?

Yes, the voice recognition needed to choose a phone number doesn't work. All other things work. I don't like two things. You can hear two different ringtones when the phone rings, ie, one from the phone and one from the unit. Then, there is a slight problem with the rearview camera. The view from the factory fitted camera in on the factory display. However, the unit also wants to get a video signal so when you shift the reverse, the unit screen goes black, ready to show the rearview. So if you split the video signal, it will be fine. But I don't know how to do it.

Na fabrycznym radiu, sterowanie głosowe działo tylko przy wybieraniu numerów telefonicznych i to nie działa na tym. Nie działa jeszcze wejście na pendrive w podłokietniku. Reszta wszystko działa.

@@fixanddriveu mnie tym sterowaniem głosowy można sterować niemal wszystko w aucie. Łącznie z nawigacja. Ale nawigacja fabryczna to jakieś nieporozumienie. Temu też myślę wrzucić jakieś inne radio. Tylko obawiam się że wiele obecnych opcji ono nie będzie obsługiwało.

I wish some had better explanations like backup camera, also the way you're running your bike in my opinion is the wrong way in the wrong place, I would of ran it just out to the left of the left vent popped in at the end or to the top of steering column now, most vehicle's has the hazard BUTTON right there, great place for MIC since it's for the DRIVER NOW. other that that, very easy install from video and looks like someone can steel one pretty darn quick if they really want to. My big question is, the box that's on those wires now, does that have double sided tape so it don't rattle now ? If not then I see a Rattle in the DASH THAT WOULD DRIVE ME CRAZY, Maybe a good idea to use 3M car double sided tape that's gonna stand up to the heat under the dashboard now. Or even velcro would work just as good as double sided tape. Anything new I should know, I'm looking at buying a Honda crv year 2007, only due to the fact that it's one of the top 10 used vehicle's to buy and it's RATED 5 STAR ACROSS THE BOARDS AND 4 STAR ON ROLLOVER, also it's very reliable and don't break down like others do even brand new cars break down faster then hundred thousand mile Hondas at 2007 and up models. Doesn't make sense but been researching for year's and I'm very picky buyer, my father worked for GM so I get a discount on new plus I prefer GM's products but they break down and cost you $$$THOUSANDS OF DOLLAR'S$$$ TO FIX THEM AFTER warranty is done. If its not a safety issue, then the NHTSA don't care and don't give out a recall on it, wires yes but transmission no, unless it catches on fire, then that would be a yes.thank you for reading.

Fix and Drive I love them too, but unfortunately most Americans are lazy and don’t know how to drive. It’s getting harder and harder to find a vehicle with a real transmission over here

How does GPS sensitivity when you left antenna under dashboard? What about 3/4G internet connectivity?

the gps works perfect, as for the internet it connects well via wi-fi with your external device, eg your phone or mobile router. It also works great, reaching the the same data speed as your device does.

If you compare sound quality with factory installed radio then which one you prefer?

the new android unit works much much better. Before I fitted the unit, I was going to replace the speakers too. But I am surprised how well the factory speakers work with the new unit. The bass and high tonnes are much better and I'll leave the speakers. The sound equalizer is great too, you can adjust the sound to your music taste.

the retailer claims the unit is 2x45watts and it clearly is. I suppose the factory unit is about 25-30watts, as factory units are never powerful
